Benefits
Increases Horsepower:
Fuel Infusion’s catalytic formulation causes deposit removal by interacting with the surface of the deposit and lowering the activation energy of its chemical bonds. This allows for the release of carbon atoms in the form of CO
2
to occur at the lower temperatures found at the deposit surface.
Increases in horsepower of 5-15% have been recorded on dynamometers!
Decreases Fuel Consumption:
This benefit is realized as the deposits are eliminated due to the more efficient conversion of the fuel to CO
2
! Deposit material that absorbs and protects the fuel from complete combustion is being destroyed and removed.
Savings of 10-20% have typically been reported.
Reduces Octane Requirement:
In gasoline applications, a lower octane fuel can be used, due to the burning of carbon deposits, with the same performance level of higher octane, higher cost alternatives. In recent years, premium fuels have averaged about $.20 more than the lowest octane alternative.
Extends Oil Life:
Fuels treated with Fuel Infusion produce smaller and fewer abrasive carbon deposit particles resulting in longer lasting sump oil, reduced engine wear, and fewer costly maintenance expenses.
Oil change intervals can be extended and maintenance costs for internal engine component repairs are reduced due to longer component life!
Reduces Emissions:
The primary source for harmful emissions is the carbon deposit, which, when removed, dramatically reduces CO, NOx, SOx, HC and particulate emissions.
Reductions of up to 80% have been realized.
Lowers Exhaust Gas Temperatures:
With a much higher combustion level release of CO
2
, less is available for release during the exhaust phase resulting in lower engine operating temperatures and a cooler exhaust.
